Parisian producer Twenty9 has dropped tracks on independent label Flow-Fi, Los Angeles based MODERN FILTH, Point Point's Filet Mignon compilation, and beat collective alaya, boasting a musical vocabulary well versed in atmospheric drums. For the past few years, Twenty9 has transformed his beats from wicked and dark to uplifting and sentimental. Now we're traveling through sensuous dreams of thick vapor dissipating in the air.
This past June, Twenty9 took to the studio with August Heldt, an artist and songwriter from Sweden, to create a full EP is called June Notes. While August wrote, Twenty9 produced, their notes intertwined as an illustration of fleeting love stories well known by young carefree heart throbs and heart breakers. With the frequency of lush keyboard chords, R&B inspired strings and flutes, ethereal bass, the product unleashes raw emotion into hot air.
Alaya is proud to bring to you "Get It Over With," one of four tracks about conspicuously unattached loving and sexing. June Notes captures irresistible summer lust and heated romance, where each track becomes undoubtedly a simple, yet powerful wave in our love. Listen in full and support here.
