We were just introduced to dance music producer Lucky Charmes with the release of his biggest hit to date, "Skank." But the Dutch producer has been a national celebrity in the house scene much longer than we've known him for, for that same uniquely nostalgic point of view on the music. Growing up on drums, it's easy to hear the percussive influence on his music and the tracks he signs to his own label +31 Music.
Today Charmes has joined others in remixing one of the most recognizable tracks from 2015 so far, Martin Solveig & GTA's "Intoxicated." Another unique twist on the trendy future electro and g-house, the production's groove, funky horns and vocals are unavoidable, and Charmes has put his own totally authentic spin on it to bring it underground. With a swirling and powerful bass present throughout the entire song, there's a production element that takes us straight to Ibiza. Debuted at EDC over this past weekend, the remix will be out soon.
