Born in Iran and raised in the Netherlands, singer and producer Sevdaliza made her formal debut earlier the year with her The Suspended Kid EP. Now she returns to the internet with her latest single "Marilyn Monroe". Let her sweet sweet vocals take you away as Sev dazzles you with her version of womanhood in the form of music. The single is part of a larger series to represent a woman's coming of age. Remarking that "Marilyn channels her fragility because it makes her powerful. A portrait in shimmering polyrhythms of a single tear floating down the cheek of a disappointed woman. When she sings, she breaks and there's nothing left to hide anymore." While that can sound a bit melancholy, the songstress makes it beautiful. Both hypnotic yet, minimal "Marilyn Monroe" is a stunning piece of work. Check it out below.
