DJ Shiftee has been a bit of a hero for a music-loving nerd like myself, considering he's not only one of the best turntablists in the world, he's also a graduate of Harvard University (and I thought I was doing alright!).
Anyways, we're finally getting to the second half of the week, and we're absolutely loving his newest track. "Drop Top" meshes both the old school vibes with the energy of present day hip hop. Overall, this track does exactly what Shiftee is known for- classic hip hop roots with a touch of innovation that makes it uniquely all of his.
