franskild have reworked their triumphant house banger "Keep On Going," transforming the track into a sexier, more emotional slow jam. The Swedish duo trade bass for more subtle drum machine work and softer synth riffs. They also cut the verses from Swedish vocalist Glas in their entirety. The risk pays off though, as Glas' emotions resonate as he sings "I keep on going, I keep on going on." Without the context of the verses, the listener can take the words however they'd like. Like in Caribou's more recent works, the lyrical minimalism allows for more personal interpretation and relation. franskild provide a tripped out backdrop with a lush production, a distinct vibe but doesn't overwhelm. It's a singular, thoughtful take on dance music that furthers Sweden as a musical powerhouse. Check it out below.
