Here at EARMILK, we are proponents of good music, no matter where it comes from. But it just so happens that much of the music we post – whether indie, dance or hip hop – happens to come from the UK. A few weeks ago, we announced our partnership with British Airways for the celebration of their latest perk for passengers: an in flight music program called Listen Up, featuring exclusive content on all the music and relevant destinations that the UK has to offer. Today, the airline continues on with their exploration and promotion of all the good music that the UK, and London, has to offer by releasing a new video profiling many of these artists throughout the London music scene.

The video is an exploration of what artists like Bear's Den, Leon Bridges, The Staves, Catfish, Jamie N Commons and The Bottlemen love most about music, and what they love most about performing in London. They reference the unique qualities of the crowds, the impressive nature of big venues like O2, the intimate nature of small venues that one can discover throughout the city. Places like The Village Underground have inspired venues in the US, and artists like Above & Beyond have chosen Albert Hall for special landmark shows. From the video, you can tell the variety of music experience available throughout London, and the special laid back vibe the music scene has. Watch the video to see, or even better, see it for yourself in person.
