Whether it's for school, work or just to wipe the slate clean, leaving your hometown is an interesting rite of passage. Atlanta-based artist, Reggie, neatly packs this concept into a minimalist track that will surely resonate with those who have ever gotten the heck outta Dodge and later contemplated life back home. Check out "Hometown" below:

Besides the relatable subject matter, I'm definitely diggin' the infectious hook, which, admittedly, has been stuck in my head for a hot minuto. Reggie also made the Frank Ocean-y beat, a perfect backdrop for his nostalgic verses about a past flame. Then throw in a little Houston influence with the "sittin' sideways" interjections, and this joint makes for a thoroughly enjoyable listening experience.
After bumping "Hometown," I am stoked for Reggie's upcoming EP, Winters Mine. Furthermore, the dude is a mere 20 years-old, so I'm excited to see what other dope projects he has in store for the future!
