2015 has shown Steve Aoki to be a generous man, releasing music, announcing shows and opportunities for fans who might not otherwise get to see him perform live to do so. The DJ, producer, and superstar performer recently followed up his chart topping Neon Future I album release with Neon Future II, debuting at #1 on the iTunes dance chart with its lead single, "I Love It When You Cry." A radio-friendly EDM track with addicting vocals from Moxie the track is a great indicator for what else Aoki has in store musically throughout the album.
And now that 2015's summer season is upon us, the word in the dance music discussion has turned to that one European beach haven: Ibiza. Continuing to charge through 2015 with more big announcements, Steve Aoki recently joined this conversation by announcing his Aoki's Playhouse Ibiza to take place Monday nights at Pacha Ibiza. And not only that, we here at EARMILK have partnered up with the Aoki team and Beatport to offer up the opportunity for one winner and a guest to receive a dance music fan's dream summer trip: airfare to Ibiza, hotel and guest list to Pacha. Of course with any album release, there are remixes to follow. The release of Neon Future I saw an official collaboration between Aoki and his longtime friend and fellow electro producer, Afrojack. With this announcement today, we've got a special first look into one of the remixes of their work "Afroki" featuring Bonnie McKee. While the original of course had big room energy, the remix's buzzing, in your face electro grinds come from Italian duo Marnik just in time for festival (and Ibiza) peak season.
