Today, we are excited to premiere Shy Girls’ remix of HUNTAR’s “Love I Know.” Given both artists’ woozy, sensual-pop sounds, this collaboration only makes sense: HUNTAR’s original song falls within his signature evocative style, and the remix by Deebs, provides us with some extra oomph and bounce. Now, Shy Girls gives it a whirl and takes it in another direction. HUNTAR’s pipes are echoed by contrasting, low-pitched murmurs, and then blasts of synths rapidly erupt, taking us through riveting climactic rides.
Shy Girls, aka Dan Vidmar from Portland, is staking a claim for himself amidst all of today’s commotion. He’s already gone touring with Little Dragon and Haim, and, a few months ago, he released the highly applauded 4WZ mixtape. Only expect bigger and greater things to come from this talent…
