Having been behind the scenes writing, producing, touring, and providing vocal backdrops for local indie groups and artists such as Yasmeen and recently dropping his debut single “So Far Gone” about a month ago, METAL is more than ready to step into the limelight. We are happy to premiere his second single “Million”. It’s characterized by mysterious and somber emotions and features his deep, trembling vocals. As they layer over delicate synth risers, METAL opens a portal to his soul. He makes himself incredibly vulnerable to his inner struggles, creating an honest depiction of what it means to be human. His sound is loosely comparable to that of James Blake and How to Dress Well because of the qualities of computerized chords as well as gracefully subtle vocals. His entrance into the New York scene is a pivoting point in his career and a refreshing splash of raw emotional feels in electronic music, and we ask you to be careful when you press play.
