Noted for cleverly hashtagging his tracks as Yukon Funk, Pat Lok returns with a new official flip of The Knock’s summer jam “Classic” on Big Beat / Atlantic Records. The track was debuted at a recent promotional campaign by Victoria’s Secret and Shazam as a piece of production gold. By underlying the signature vocals of classic with a myriad of pop groove synths and house-like chords, the Vancouver producer has created yet another trademark song. The Knocks have given a shout out to Pat Lok’s flip, confident that “it sounds nothing like any other remixes we’ve had of the track in the best possible way.” Pat Lok will be at Splash House in Palm Springs to kick off some sweet summer vibes.
