As the second track to be released off of Teenage Love's upcoming EP, we bring you the genre bending song "Deserted Places". As a pop duo comprised of Katy Gunn and Anna Lidell, Teenage Love spans the globe of modern Westernized music, taking root in Katy and Anna's origins of Brooklyn and Copenhagen. Describing their own sound as 'Postal Service meets Portishead with a little Vampire Weekend sprinkled on top,' "Deserted Places" speaks to the three acts in scope and accessibility.

A clever exchange between a sustained synth melody and dual vocal runs make up the venturing middle-ground of "Deserted Places". As the song progresses, many elements begin to play off of one another, introducing manipulated vocals and strings to add depth. As a whole, "Deserted Places" is an exploration and unison of both contemporary and older new age pop, highlighting Teenage Love with its unique structure and enthralling atmosphere.
