It's not all orange juice and bikini'd rollerbladers in the Sunshine State; there's people putting in work and grinding it out just like anywhere else.
One of these go-getters is theehof, a 24 year-old emcee who is steadily amassing a solid portfolio of certified fuego. His latest EP, Aestimare, a Latin word meaning to "judge" or "determine the value of," is truly a dope project and a worthy follow-up to his Magick mixtape. As the EP's title suggests, hof doesn't give a flying intercourse about all the judgmental chumps out there – he's gonna keep it 100 and continue his ascent to the top of the rap game.
Stylistically, hof flaunts a masterfully-executed, singsongy flow that fluctuates between rap and harmony at a moment's notice. This makes for some captivating verses and hooks, especially on "Van Gogh" and "Black & White," my personal favorites from the project.
This impressive EP sets the stage for theehof's upcoming endeavor, which will feature production from Rene, who has worked with the likes of Rich Hil and Travis Scott. In the meantime, peep out Aestimare below and treat your ears to some high-calcium, vitamin D-fortified EARMILK!
