Our favorite neo-soul revivalist GDNA (pronounced Goo-dee-nah) was last featured on EARMILK for the release of the first single off of his upcoming project Quadrants, entitled "Reasons" back in late February. His airy bedroom productions seamlessly combine the forward thinking axioms of electronic music with the emotional depth of 90s R&B/soul music resulting in a distinctively expressive sound.
The blossoming artist has now decided to give us a more in depth look of what to expect from Quadrants in the form of an abstract teaser trailer directed and edited by Richard A. Stevenson Jr. The trailer offers viewers 7 unique visual representations for every track on the EP, each one meant to provide listeners with an extra layer of meaning and purpose while indulging. The primary themes embodied in the trailer are a celebration of afrocentrism, womanhood, higher consciousness, sensuality, love and a general adoration of the fairer sex. View the trailer below and be sure to purchase the Quadrants EP when it is released on May 5th.
