Lane 8 returns with “Ghost” featuring Patrick Baker

San Francisco's Lane 8 once told us of his music, "When you're the slowest guy in a swim race, you get placed in lane #8." And while that might not be the case with the speed in trajectory of his career, Lane 8's music has been some that has helped bring deep house to the forefront of dance music. By way of Germany, he's picked up a unique style that melds progressive melody and the deeper side of house music in a totally unique way, landing tracks like "I Got What You Need" on the viral radar almost immediately after their posting.

A few months ago, Lane 8 released "Diamonds" featuring Solomun Grey, a track that we now know is the first single off of his debut artist album entitled Rise. Due out on July 17, 2015 via Anjunabeats, we've just got a taste of the second single from the album. Another collaboration with a soulful, melancholy vocalist, this time Patrick Baker contributes to "Ghost." The atmospheric, chilled out track was released this Monday, with a stream via Lane 8's SoundCloud as well.
