Their sound is a sun-drenched crack at electric synth-driven indie melodies that would make your dad's past mullet and your mom's parachute pants smile with nostalgia. Their latest single "Look Out" is a bubbly tune with synths like laser rocket blasts and gentle vocals that brood through the melody and caress the sound waves with ease. In the video for this track, the Bad Wave dudes head down to the dojo to prove to some pre-teen punks what it really means to be a black belt. Karate chops and kicks slice through the air like the entrancing drum machine within the track. The video has a very Wes Anderson feel to it, mixing stylized cinematography with absurd scenarios that will put a small on your face.
