Kickraux previously worked with Unlike Pluto on Mad Decent release “Palace”, a track so heavily laced with immeasurable synth waterfalls and atmospheric winds that it’ll feel as if you’re riding a high-speed coaster in and out of your own mind. Now, he’s ready to announce the first release off his new label Future Dancehall Records. Jamaican DJ and producer Kickraux creates a reggae-infused work of house called “Mojito”.
"Mojito" works through tribal beats and waves of synthetic. With enough reverb and underlying bass guitar to take you back to Jamaica, Kickraux’s two-step pulse will manifest itself within your hips and feet. It’s LFO vocals are native to the Kingston inflection, bursting not only with aboriginal taste, but also intonations that rhythmically confess love and affection towards Earth’s gift of natural intoxication.
