Probably like most, since hearing Lizzy Plapinger’s voice from MS MR on their track "Hurricane", I was instantly hooked to the haunting dark beauty and have been anxiously waiting for more. Luckily MS MR has released the first single “Painted” from their much anticipated album by the same name. While this isn’t what I was expecting, it is an infectious track in its own right. Straying from melancholic heart tugging slower paced songs that fans might be expecting, MS MR has created a punchy, high energy track that showcases their wide range. Lizzy’s strong and distinct voice still delivers all that you hoped it would while they explore this different energy of their music.
MS MR has already booked in to some of the big festivals this season such as Lollapalooza in both Chicago and Berlin as well as Osheaga and various other North American locations slated for their upcoming tour.
