"Dive" into Katuchat's dark cave of reverberations

"Dive" is a voyage through stalagmite caves that are embedded thousands of feet below ground level, with a dauntless sound so saturated with vibration that it could wake the undead from their sleep. Katuchat steadily leads us through a realm of darkness as inconspicuous strangers. We remain nameless, unknown, and dangerous to the world we are about to enter. It is at once thrilling and dramatic, creating an experience that is as mythical as the steel-cold year of 2050.

Katuchat has been featured for the first half of the 23rd radio episode of alaya, a young record label and collective who has recently shown love for electronic producer LUCA LUSH and funk manipulator Flamingosis by curating a show this past January in Brooklyn, New York. EDM dot com has also recognized Katuchat's "Watercolor" off of his January release, Lonely Cloud EP, under an imprint called The XXX. As a part of Moose Records, which was launched in 2013 by two Parisian producers, Julia Losfelt and Andrea, Katuchat and its roster celebrate how sound has the ability to elegantly permeate large spaces. Other members of Moose Records include young tropical dream producer Petit Biscuit and "Earth wizard" Dream Koala, all of which manifest powerful feelings of immediate presence in this insane place we call the universe.

"Dive" is part of the 8th compilation of Moose Records and is available on Bandcamp for the price of your choice. If you end up on Katuchat's Soundcloud, make sure you check out "Sleepyhead" and "Pink Lemonade".
