Ever since I first heard Floridian teenager Chester Watson on Zane Lowe's Radio 1 show (which has now sadly gone), I've been hooked. I can't tell what grabbed me first, the laid back boom bap vibes of his single "Phantom", the monotone voice with which he sprays his words or the instinctive nature he has when it comes to lyricism, all of these things combined just blew me away.
Chester and his Nü Age Syndicate homies go deeper than rap though, they produce their own beats, they dabble in art, they make their own videos; to sum it all up, they are a bunch of creatives. With that being said, Watson has come of age over the past couple of years, and his latest project Tin Wooki is testament to that. Around ten months ago, the young emcee released a nine minute long video for three of the tracks on Tin Wooki, and now he's decided to cut the video for "Creed" out completely and release it as a standalone visual. The video sees Watson mobbing around his local store, recting his lyrics down the camera as he switches locations in a rather lowkey affair.
