Following on from the 2014 Pagans EP and "Still Sitting Here" with Fekky, Dizzee Rascal unveils another piece of unavoidable proof that he's on point and better than ever. "Nutcrackerz" (produced by Heavytrackerz) is set for an April 18th release, under the rapper's own imprint; Dirtee Stank Recordings (Universal Records).
This passed week, the official video premiered via The Fader. It samples the Russian composer Tchaikovsky, and creates a deliciously unusual juxtaposition between the grime sound and classical melody. Dizzee turns up the heat with a verse for verse workout with Giggs.

Dizzee Rascal has garnered online support from the likes of Noisey, Pitchfork, FACT, The Guardian, and more. Now, we see Dizzee and Giggs driving around London. While Giggs takes us to Peckham, Dizzee takes us back to Bow E3 as he declares: "Back in the day before bloggers and tweeters, before they knew I was a genius." Dizzee and Giggs rap candidly and cheekily about the past, going toe to toe in a lyrical/flow masterclass.
After winning the Mercury Music Prize in 2003 for his debut album Boy In Da Corner, and producing his debut single "I Luv You" in 2002, Dizzee went on to start his own label, to achieve 5 number one hits, win an NME Award and a Brit Award, and release music collaborating with the likes of Calvin Harris, Robbie Williams, Arman Van Helden, DJ Fresh, and more. An inspiring career to date, "Nutcrackerz" is here to make its mark. Peep it above.
