Two years ago when Orjan Nilsen dropped his sophomore album No Saint Out of Me, its singles “XIING” and “Violetta” received colossal support from internationally renowned trance names such as Andrew Rayel, W&W, and Markus Schulz. These two tracks had made their way onto setlists from Ultra Miami, EDC New York, Canada's Escapade Festival, and A State of Trance 500 all around Europe.
Orjan’s music is classified as trance, but the implication of the word does not properly explain the way Nilsen orchestrates. His music could be considered an emphasis in uplifting, whose heavy progression and climatic breaks will make you feel as if you’ve entered a wormhole to an emotional cosmos. While Hans Zimmer is the composer of the animated Dreamworks picture El Dorado, Orjan Nilsen is the maestro to your own anti-gravity party at the Colosseum in Rome. We can agree that it will properly induce euphoria and dreams of unimaginable heights. “The Edge” is nothing more or less of the quality Orjan Nilsen has produced during his career and it continues the power of his influence in trance. It is now available on Beatport off of Armind, Armada Music’s first imprint founded by Armin Van Buuren.
