We don't know too much about the young Patrick Perez, but we do know that the Canadian artist has remixed Juk Juk's "Frozen," and we're excited to chill out to this mellow track on this Friday.
The original track was released through Four Tet's Text Records, and was a melodic piece that explored scattered percussion piece and created harmony through organized chaos. Perez's piece slows things down and takes out some of the chaos, while still bringing dissonance to the track. There is a feeling of dissonance throughout the piece, and it brings another dimension to the already fantastic song.
