Take a playful trip with Geographer's "The Guest"

Geographer’s "The Guest" is truly a track that has everything. In an age ruled so predominantly by heavy production and electronic beats, Geographer masterfully kicks it old school relying on more classic instruments to create a cinematically big sound. The strings are woven seamlessly in with the power of trumpets, the cymbals are kept in the background to not overtake the track while the piano lays down a playful melody throughout. It’s a laid back and friendly track that mixes all those instrumental elements and yet still keeps the vocals to the fore.

California’s Geographer is currently on tour and with a chance to see the four piece band mix synth with guitars, bass, a cello, drums and Mike Deni’s vocals, it’s probably a show worth catching.
