German producer Simion has been particularly busy over the past year. From his own label, Hedonism, he’s released his own “U & I” and a colossal remix of Ben Pearce's “What I Might Do.” He’s also had much success with releases on other labels including Off Recordings and Suara, where in February he dropped the acclaimed “Give You Love (The Piano),” and next month, April 17th, Simion makes a triumphant return to his label with the release of “Why Don’t You Say.”
Right from the beginning, Simion sets the tone of the track with a crisp percussion and a heavily reverbed, funky bassline. This is the perfect backdrop for the soothing, yet wanting, vocals that pull you in throughout the track and lead you through an astonishing breakdown that will keep you wanting more.
