When your first single catches the eyes of a record label in your hometown, it's always a promising sign. That's what happened for the duo Max Haaxman and Lars Maasland of Larrykoek. Having been released 7 months ago, their first original "Premiere Fois," caught the attention of Dutch label Dirty Soul Records, and is now being signed and re-released under their banner. The record features a very steady stream of guitar rhythms and a funky house undertone. "Premiere Fois" translates into "first time" and if one thing is for certain, it looks like these guys got lucky with their first time releasing an original single.
