Australian psychedelic rock band Tame Impala has proven themselves as a force to be reckoned with ever since their debut release Innerspeaker, and has solidified themselves in the indie rock world with their critically acclaimed sophomore album Lonerism. Ever since, all eyes and ears are pointed in their direction for any sign or clue to what and when their next release would be.
They have finally thrown us all a bone to chew on to satisfy our curiosity. "Let It Happen" is a lengthy track clocking in at just ten seconds shy of eight minutes. In classic Tame Impala fashion, the track offers plenty of swirling synths, echoing vocals, and loops. The psychedelia is alive and well, and this is just but a taste of what's to come in their third album due out some time in 2015.
