Nina Las Vegas could be dubbed one of the great dance music taste makers of our time. Never too flashy, but always stylish, the Australian powerhouse DJ/Producer spends a staggering amount of time either traveling the world performing in clubs and at festivals, producing alongside former Major Lazer producer Swick, running Mix Up Exclusives on Triple J Radio, or surfing to the depths of the internet to find the rarest and most unique music possible. She has been known for years as the go-to persona for breaking new artists and records from all over the world. So as someone who has been closely watching her progress, it is with much excitement that EARMILK presents an exclusive collaborative remix from Swick and NLV to you as a teaser for her upcoming North American tour (including dates at SXSW and WMC).
When NLV and Swick paired up to spawn a dance floor decimating remix of Anna Lunoe's "Say It Again", I'm not entirely sure what was going through their heads but if what I envision while listening to it is parallel to their thoughts…it was meant to prove that brutal bass music can be harnessed into an irresistible club groove. Swick's signature style also shines through with lazer precise percussion and pitch bending melodies. NLV and Swick released an EP together on Skrillex's imprint Nest HQ about 5 months ago and their recent remix is an ear catching progression from such a solid collaborative effort. Make sure to snag the free download and keep your eyes peeled for an exclusive interview with NLV coming to Earmilk this week!
