Future bass is taking over the electronic music landscape, and it's doing it fast. Looking back, it almost feels like it sort of started out as a branch of trap, and eventually morphed into what it is now, filled with big low ends and long, almost alien-sounding synths.
This week, Swedish-based producer Kasbo tried his hand at Vance Joy's hit tune "Riptide," and threw in his own, unique future sound on it. The original was already pretty sweet, but this version definitely holds its own. Without sacrificing the quality of the vocals, this track totes fresh melodies as well as just a generally solid sound design.
