Irish trio GO WOLF have released "Friction" off of their forthcoming EP Running. Active within the past year, GO WOLF maintain a central theme of airy synths and complementary male/female vocals throughout each of their songs. Having formed unintentionally during a poetry night in Belfast, the trio have since taken on supporting slots for big names such as The 1975, Wild Beasts and CSS.
Centered around their usual free-flowing, happy-go-lucky vibe, "Friction" furthers GO WOLF's accessible sound with its seamless blend of new age synth pop with contemporary cues. Having already released both "Running" and "Slow Burn" off of their upcoming EP, "Friction" may be the most dense of the three, where through the chorus dual vocals play off of the melody to form a cohesive drive.
