Founded by the guitarist of Scissor Sisters, Slow Knights might have created one of the best 90's era- influenced ballad that we've heard in a little while. Comprising of band members Derek Gruen, Xavier, Rod Thomas, Mykal Kilgore, Bridget Barkan, the band has been releasing work over the course of two-three years, but "Just Kiss" might just be one of their best work yet.
The track, which is off their upcoming debut album Living In A Dark World, out April 26th, is part funk, part R&B, and drenched in back in the day pop and soul, the piece is an absolute stunner. The band has been slowly building their CV up, and with their upcoming album in the works, this group is definitely a band to keep an eye out on.
