As a music publication, discovering a new artist who you know will strike a chord with readers, fans and a wide range of listeners is simply the holy grail, and today we have the honor of introducing an act in that manner. Fine|Art currently has no posts on their SoundCloud page, and only five likes on their Facebook page. But we know that is about to change. After the one and only Annie Mac just premiered their debut track on her BBC Radio 1 show, we know we are in good company in introducing you to the Fine|Art project and their first single "Ruffneck."
"Ruffneck" is undoubtedly a great intro to what we can expect from the new artist: edgy, underground house with clear garage influences. With both retro piano melodies and vintage vocal samples highlighting the bass synths, "Ruffneck" speaks to Fine|Art's crate digging inspiration, and is the perfect way to start your weekend off. So now that you've heard it first from Annie Mac, listen to it over and over again below.
