Chicago, Illinois has been a hotbed of raw hip hop talent for years now, with a never ending line of gifted rappers and producers spawning from The Windy City. The likes of Chance The Rapper, Chief Keef and Lil Durk have all risen up from the streets of Chicago, and the city's so called 'Chiraq' atmosphere has lead to some of the hardest rap music to hit the streets.
One rapper who's quickly ascending up the hip hop hierarchy in Chi-town is talented teenage rapper Lil Herb. The Illinois native has shown his talents off with two incredibly dope mixtapes entitled Welcome To Fazoland & Pistol P Project, which were both met with a great response from fans and critics alike. Now, with 2015 well underway, Herb is back once again with another bangin' track in collaboration with New York based streetwear brand Rocksmith, aptly titled "I'm Rollin". Backed by an 808 heavy instrumental thats kept simple yet effective, Herb tears through the beat, spitting with venom and hunger, with a performance that cements his space on the come up list for sure.
You can stream "I'm Rollin" below, and whilst you're at it you can also check out the Rocksmith lookbook featuring Herb HERE.
