The only thing “lost” about the electricifying LA duo Lost Kings is that they may or may not have made their way into your hearts yet. They nestled their way into our hearts about a year ago with their innovative progressive house renditions of indie and mainstream singles. Since their introduction to the world they have remix Ellie Goulding, Local Natives, The Killers, Duke Dumont, Wild Club and much more, proving that their catalog expands beyond indie but also into popular dance music.
Earlier this week the two dropped their explosive remix of Imagine Dragon’s “I Bet My Life.” All the stems of the verse and bridges are left practically untouched with minor notes of melody and percussion fluttering underneath. It isn’t until the chorus that the guys let the synths and bass loose and slap you in the face with a decree to get up and dance.
