Okay, first off we are obsessed with the new duo Rae Sremmurd, composed of Swae Lee and Slim Jimmy. They are only 19 and 21 years old and dammit do they act like. Whether they are skating around airport baggage claims or bringing the ruckus to ESPN’s Highly Questionable, they are having a blast. Oh yeah, and their music is pretty rad as well. Their song “No Type” has been taking over club speakers, radio airwaves and has been on repeat in our heads. Thankfully today the amazing indie-electro synth duo ASTR has flipped the original and put their midas touch on it., as they did previously with Drake’s “Just Hold On We’re Going Home”. The two take a dreamy and entrancing approach to the original, putting their experimental yet danceable electro touch to it. ASTR will be playing both Ultra and Gov. Ball this year in addition to many more. Be sure to catch them live but until then snag a free download below of this incendiary cover.
