Over the past year, LA based Justin Jay has been invaluable to the rise of DIRTYBIRD, and while he does not have a new track on DIRTYBIRD 10, this week, Justin Jay released his own special, dark take on Disciple’s “They Don’t Know,” out February 22nd on FFRR Records.
In his remix, Justin Jay toes the line between deep house and techno, making the track almost unrecognizable, with a crisp percussion and a heady synth groove setting the tone. This is the perfect backdrop to overlay the vocals of the original, pitched down and dark. The track culminates with a distinct techno beat that will keep you dancing all night long.
