Chad Bundick is known to change alias' and styles of music often. His best known moniker Toro Y Moi is back at it again. This time around, Bundick changes things up with a more organic style, which is considerably different from his electronic based work. In his latest single "Empty Nesters," Bundick hones his inner indie artist. If "Empty Nesters" is any indication, Toro Y Moi's newest album could be one of his most fascinating.
"I’ve done electronic R&B and more traditional recorded type R&B stuff. I just wanted to see what else was out there,”says Bundick about his latest project. “It’s all coming from the same mindset and point of creativity. It’s just me trying to take what I already have, and then taking it further.” Bundick's new album, simply titled What If?, is 10 tracks long and is scheduled for an April 7 release date courtesy Carpark Records.
