With no sign of a possible release date for Lil Wayne's Tha Carter V in sight, Weezy drops Sorry 4 The Wait 2 mixtape to give fans some new tunes. After releasing a tease and then full single from the project, "Fingers Hurting", over the holiday weekend, Tunechi's new mixtape is only [hopefully] a sampler of what's to come. Earlier yesterday, his fellow Young Money/Cash Money Records longtime friend Mack Maine released a picture of the official artwork and it seems to be telling of Wayne's current label struggles.

If you've followed the story, you are aware of the growing riff between Cash Money Records head honcho Brian "Birdman/Baby" Williams and his longtime mentee. Toward the end of last year, the 32-year-old rap phenom released his frustrations on Twitter, declaring to his fans that he wanted "nothing to do" with Cash Money and only wanted to move forward with YMCMB.
Later, reports of money issues within the front office spread on the Internet like wild fire. Allegedly, Wayne's new album, Tha Carter V is being held hostage due to internal issues. But despite the drama, Wayne has given his fans another project to enjoy in the meantime with SFTW2.
The album cover art shows Wayne's arm in dangling over a white wall. On one wrist, a locked handcuff hangs on his wrist and at the other end, the cuff is open which could be a telling sign of what's to come of his with damaged relationship with Cash Money. In between the lines, it seems to be another way of Wayne saying, "I'm free" from the people who locked him down for so long (similar to what his manager Cortez Bryant wrote in his own Instagram post).
