There's so much talent coming from Scandinavia right now, and Sevdaliza is one of the more recent examples. The Iranian-born, Netherlands-based artist made quite a name for herself last year, dropping numerous singles, always accompanied by aesthetically daring music videos. Now one of her 2014 highlights, "Clear Air," has been reworked by fellow Dutch artist and Soulection member Jarreau Vandal.
Vandal takes the track in a gentler direction, softening the edges of the somewhat jarring, abrasive production and shifting Sevdaliza's vocal pitch up a few notches, creating a more romantic effect compared to the original's dark, sultry vibe. Both artists are on schedule to blow up in 2015, keep an eye out. You can download the remix, and see the original "Clear Air" music video, below.
