If there's one thing to note about this release, it's that its artist Serial Thrilla is a mysterious one. Out on Tasty Recordings this week, On And On's title track of a similar name references multiple styles of music: a remade vocal loop that references hip hop's early golden age (Common, anyone?), a jazzy piano riff and synths are lounge music heaven, and a smooth energy that makes me psyched to see what's next from this artist.
