Phony Ppl are an eclectic nine-piece band out of Brooklyn who have been crafting some of the funkiest and creative jazz-hop tracks since 2012, back when the group released their acclaimed debut project Phonyland right out of high school. They are now gearing up for the release of their third major LP, Yesterday's Tomorrow, set for release on January 13th.
The group has decided to let out a single off of the upcoming album entitled "Why iii Love The Moon", which apparently was the result of a completely improvised jam session that just happened to be recorded. This track is a reminder of why we all fell in love with the group in the first place; their musical chemistry, songwriting, and soulful grooves are just so damn infectious. Check out the track below and make sure to download Phony Ppl's upcoming Yesterday's Tomorrow LP when it drops on January 13th!
