Ibiza-based producer Eagles & Butterflies had a memorable 2014. Not only did his breakout album, The Butterfly Effect, gain the support of deep house heavyweights Amirali, Tensnake, and Solomun, but he was named BBC Radio 1's "One To Watch", and became presenter of the mighty Data Transmissions show on Ibiza Sonica.
As difficult as these successes may be to top, 2015 is off to a promising start for the English-born artist. After relocating to Los Angeles, he is set to release music on two of his favourite labels.
Today, Eagles & Butterflies returns to his own imprint with the first half of the Hours EP, a two-part offering consisting of eight tracks. Available January 19th, Hours Pt. 1 is music for the soul, taking the listener from "One AM" through to "Four AM" on a journey of groove. While "One AM" and "Three AM" are melody focused, "Two AM" and "Four AM" are night club ready, with quick tempos and heavy bass.
