Under the mentorship of superstar Steve Aoki, Los Angeles-based DJ and producer Reid Stefan has been working on honing his craft. Ahead of working with Aoki's label Dim Mak further in 2015, he's one of the first dance act ever signed to Def Jam Recordings, has won multiple remix competitions and is working on his performance chops with acts like NERVO. Today he's continuing his #FreeFriday project, bringing music to his fans as downloadable tracks via Soundcloud. Today #FreeFriday means a remix of one of our all-time favorite songs: Missy Elliott's "Pass The Dutch." Though you might think, "How could anyone make that track better?" Stefan hasn't tampered with our love for the original, and has made it into a work of his own, complete with drops, trap influences and high energy.
