Sebastian Carter is turning things up in the new year with a fresh remix of Full Crate X Mar's club hit "Nobody Else." The original has attracted more than 700,000 listens on SoundCloud with its garage beat, retro-sounding synth work and R&B vocal sensibilities. Sebastian Carter's mix ramps the entire song up, with harder hitting beat complete with drum machine claps, richer layers of background instrumentals and a different take on Full Crate X Mar's synthesizer riffs. The result is a production that does a better job of reflecting the lyrics' pensive and bitter sweet nature than the original; Carter's remix vies with the song's vocals for listeners' attention, giving both equal weight and making the listener think about what they're listening to. It's a big start on the year for the thoughtful Swiss Carter, who is expected to keep the remix train rolling in 2015.
