Following his chilled-out house track “Happiness” which features vocals from singer MNEK, New York’s Chris Malinchak returns with a little holiday gift called “When The World Stops Turning.” It seems like Malinchak is on a streak of calm and spacious singles that bring this breath of fresh air. Similar to “Happiness,” “When The World Stops Turning” twinkles and has this cozy sentiment that makes it feel somewhat like a lullaby. Although this veers away from the vibes we got from “Stranger” and club tracks like “Freak,” Malinchak’s signature crisp beats and heavy kick still pop through the hazy synths and atmospheric vocals from R&B singer Sam Dew.
"When The World Stops" reminds us how talented and versatile Chris Malinchak can be in his craft. The world really does feel like it's paused when listening to this track. It's such a wonderful little treat that will hopefully be officially released sometime soon.
