BeLL F.K.A. Caroline Brooks was born and raised in the small town of Tyler in Texas. She attended the University of Texas at Austin as a Radio-Television-Film major, but before she graduated she moved to Los Angeles to pursue her career in the entertainment industry. Once in Tinseltown, she began collaborating with some of the top musicians, producers & songwriters in the industry such as Jim Collins (Kenny Chesney, Jason Aldean), Phredley Brown (Bruno Mars), Trent Dabbs (Ingrid Michaelson), and David Hodges (Christina Perri, Kelly Clarkson, Evanescence). Soon after, she took her talent on the road and started touring nationwide; developing loyal fan bases in cities as diverse as Austin, Washington D.C., New York, and Los Angeles.

Before long, offers for TV, film, and commercial placements began coming in, including a movie trailer for A Little Bit Of Heaven (starring Kate Hudson), a Volkswagen 2014 Super Bowl commercial feature with Giorgio Moroder (Daft Punk), and MTV's Finding Carter, among others. Brooks began receiving enthusiastic press from sources including Entertainment Tonight and The Huffington Post, which led her to be featured on the cover of In Magazine.

But, despite all of her success, Caroline felt her creativity was restricted by the parameters she was typically working within, writing songs for TV or film placements or for other artists. BeLL was born when Brooks brought her creative vision to songwriter and producer Adrianne Gonzalez; the persona eventually evolved over a series of studio sessions with songwriters and producers Garrison Starr, Amit Ofir, and Tyler Shamy.

I created BeLL as an alter ego so I could express myself without worrying about being judged or viewed as unattractive; she started out as an escape but then grew into something bigger. The goal of BeLL is not to be self-indulgent though, but empowering.

BeLL is now preparing to release her first EP Fight The Giants in early 2015 with the title track being premiered here as the first offering from the debut project. Take a listen to it above and be sure to follow her via her social media channels below.
