Based out of Buckinghamshire, As Elephants Are have been gaining traction with their wholesome, driven sound. Most recently releasing their EP Crown with producer Andy Savours (My Bloody Valentine, Pains of Being Pure at Heart) on board, the UK five-piece build off of the already established sound found on their Hand Prints EP with "Crown".
Showcasing a depth and grit to their sound, "Crown" is built around a solid progression where heavy-set guitar melodies steal the show. Focused around a young, attractive couple, the video for "Crowns" finds the duo in the midst of an argument. In growing with the tone found in the song think of the story as an ark, one that spikes with emotions in either direction, yet seems to come back around the bend at the end.
