Hailing from a town outside of Barcelona, Sau Poler is definitely an artist to cozy up to and get really familiar with. His music is a mixture of deep house, ambient, and experimental electronic but to classify him by one genre would be a disservice. Sau Poler is gearing up to release his next Ep, Paradoxes of Progress, on Dec. 2nd via Atomnation. Today we have the privilege of debuting the title track off the EP, “For NYC.” The song is airy, light, ethereal, captivating, invigorating, and enticing for what the rest of the EP has in store. Light synths flutter as complex percussions beds permeate in the under bed of this single. If his single is any indication to the rest of the EP then we may have to toss in a new contender for “Most Surprising EPs” of 2014. Vibe to this track and be on the lookout for the EP release on Dec. 2nd.
