Ajimal is invincible with his new music video for "Nothing Touches Me" [Premiere]

Ajimal, the sensitive pop project of Fran O'Hanlon, graces today with the release of a video counterpart to his smashing single "Nothing Touches Me".

Officially set to be released on Dec 1 via Mono, "Nothing Touches Me" is half of a split 12" single, residing beside a track called "Droplet", which features long-time friends and collaborators Tessera Skies.

"Nothing Touches Me" invites you to take an insular look at yourself, just as Ajimal has. Through both lyrical content and delicate soundscapes, O'Hanlon realizes various disabilities in life, including our inability to imagine anything outside one's own sphere of existence, as well as the very inability of visualizing death.

For the video itself, of which we are premiering today, "Nothing Touches Me" is said by O'Hanlon to centre around "the ideas of repetition and symmetry," where "the track is an unapologetic, youthful look at the fact that everything we do has arguably been done before." Filmed as a "single, live performance piece featuring 6 dancers," the visuals can be described as "loosely based around the electronic configuration of a carbon atom," nodding to the repetition of life as we know it.
