Will Sparks is “Bourne” again in upcoming Ultra release [Premiere]

If not the original messiah of Melbourne house, Will Sparks certainly deserves credit as one of the first producers to bring this sound to eager fans in The States. He, along with a handful of other Australian artists, have established their reputation on the refined grinds and brassy mids that have come to define the genre. Coming Monday, November 17th, Will Sparks will release "Bourne", the lead single to his Another Land EP, which promises to be an eight track adventure in all things Melbourne. In it you'll find a lot of what we would consider the classic style, some incredible variations on this theme, and at least one track where we hear a complete departure into a fluid progressive dreamscape.

"Bourne", today's premiere and an obvious homage to the genre's namesake, appears to combine many of the EP's elements into one. Throughout the track there exists the standard, almost ever-present mid line and offbeat bouncing bass, but these find company in a hyper-contrasting melodic break full of riveting and reverberating electro piano riffs. With this work, Will Sparks will be sure to remain on the cutting edge of this electro house subset, so check in on Monday for "Bourne", coming to you via Ultra.
